The English side got a great start as their opener Jason Roy played a scintillating knock scoring 132 runs off just 124 deliveries in the second ODI against Bangladesh. The Bangladesh side found themselves in a spot of bother as they invited England to bat after winning the toss.

England had crossed the 300 mark in the 48th over when the game witnessed a hilarious moment. Bangladesh pacer Taskin Ahmed bowled a perfect yorker to Adil Rashid which was comfortably blocked by the English batter. To everyone’s surprise, Bangladesh fielders including skipper Tamim Iqbal started appealing for Leg Before Wicket.

When the on-field umpire rejected the appeal, Tamim Iqbal eventually decided to call for the Decision Review System as he looked confident to get the dismissal. DRS made it further clear that the ball was nowhere close to the pad and had clearly made contact with Adil Rashid’s bat.

The video of the terrible DRS call taken by Bangladesh captain Tamim Iqbal has gone viral across social media platforms. A few cricket fans termed it as the ‘Worst DRS Appeal Of The Year.’
