Cheteshwar Pujara, the man who is named one of the best test batters has always kept his name in glory when it comes to Test matches. Pujara who is currently playing the county championship in London in the team Sussex has played a number of brilliant innings for the team. Meanwhile, Pujara was also seen bowling against Leicestershire and even bowling pretty well.

The top Indian batter seems to have had a fantastic season for the English domestic club. Pujara batted well for Sussex prior to actually joining Team India for the fifth delayed Test in Birmingham. The 34-year-old is now back in action for Sussex in County Championship Division 2 matches.

As Cheteshwar Pujara returned to the domestic league, he has shown another side of his bowling abilities. The man who is always seen holding his ground and not losing his wicket easily was seen in a role reversal when he took charge of the ball. Pujara attempted leg spin against Leicestershire. Although he had a poor first over, conceding 8 runs, the video of Pujara bowling was extensively shared on social media platforms.

The club even shared the clip with the caption: “An over of @cheteshwar1 bowling”. The Indian batter was seen bowling scatterbrained leg spin deliveries in full stride in the video. But even though Pujara bowled regular deliveries, the majority of which landed on the batter’s pads, it was entertaining to see the batter use his cricketing skills to correct his errors.

Prior to joining Sussex, Pujara played three Ranji games for Saurashtra, scoring 91 in the first of those games against 41-time champions Mumbai, It was from that point, that Pujara says he knew “everything was back to normal.”

“It’s about playing as many first-class games as possible and for me, I think the experience was very important. Because when you want to get back into form, when you want to find your rhythm, when you want to find your concentration, it’s important to have some long innings. When I was playing for Sussex, once I had the first big knock against Derby then I felt that my rhythm was back. My concentration and everything started falling in place,” Pujara said in a video on BCCI.tv.
