West Indies tour of Pakistan has been cut short after the completion of the third and last T20I on 16th December in Karachi. Pakistan dominated the Windies and completed a clean sweep against the Caribbean team in the 3-match T20I series. The fans witnessed a comical scene in the third T20I as two Pakistan fielders try to take a catch, but none of them was successful.

Just when the cricketing action around the world started to show some normalcy, Coronavirus has made a comeback and West Indies tour of Pakistan has fallen prey to it. The West Indies team reported as many as 9 cases and as a result, their tour has been postponed further. The third T20I saw a funny incident as two Pakistan fielders try to take the catch, but both end up dropping it.

Two Pakistan fielders drop a catch in a hilarious way

The comical incident took place in the 8th over of the West Indies inning when Mohammad Nawaz was bowling to Shamarh Brooks. The West Indian batsman danced down the track and lofted the ball up in the air towards long-on. Two Pakistan fielders Hasnain and Iftikhar ran for the catch, they both converged, but ended up leaving it to each other.

This was a typical Pakistan drop as the fans have witnessed similar incident a few years ago when Malik and Ajmal left the catch to each other in confusion. The blunder by two Pakistan fielders certainly tickled the funny bone of the viewers. West Indies were supposed to play 3 ODIs as well after the T20I series, however their tour has been hindered by the rising cases of Coronavirus in the camp.

While the Pakistan team won the T20I series, the ODI series has been pushed to June 2022. Pakistan was clinical in their performance and outclassed the Windies in all the departments, winning the series 3-0.
