WATCH- Daniel Bowls Bizarre Dead Ball In The First Match Of BBL 2019

On Tuesday, the opening match of the Big Bash League (BBL) 2019 has been played between Brisbane Heat and Sydney Thunder. During the first match of the BBL’s ninth season, Sydney Thunder pacer Daniel Sam bowls a bizarre dead ball ever had in cricket history. After seeing the bizarre delivery everyone on the field or off the field couldn’t stop the laugh.

It all happened in the very first over of the second innings when the ball slips out of the bowler’s hand. And hence the ball landed near the square-leg umpire. Meanwhile, wicketkeeper-batsman Tom Banton was on the strike, even he gets surprised. The incident was followed by both the players and commentators enjoying a laugh. Short Summary of the Match

Earlier in the match, after winning the toss Sydney Thunder chode to bat first at The Gaba in Brisbane. Syndey Thunder, in the very first match of the BBL 2019, scored 172-6 at the end of the 20 overs and set a target of 173. From Syndey Thunder, Callum Ferguson was the top scorer, who scored 73 off 44 balls and remain unbeaten. This innings from Ferguson included 6 fours and 3 sixes.

In the reply, Brisbane Heat could manage to score only 143 before getting all out and lost the match by 29 runs. From Brisbane Heat Matt Renshaw and Ben Cutting could manage to score 20+. They both have scored 26(24) and 28(18) respectively. In bowling department from Sydney Thunder Daniel Sams, Jonathan Cook, Chris Green, Arjun Nair took 2-2 wickets each. In results, Brisbane Heat got all out in the last over of the innings and hence Sydney Thunder won.

Callum Ferguson awarded with ‘Man of the Match’ for his unbeaten 73 runs off 44 balls. And now, on Wednesday, in the second match of the BBL 2019, Sydney Sixers will take on Perth Scorchers.
