The match between the Titans and Capitals saw a unique moment as DC batter Lalit Yadav becomes the victim of a rare run-out.

Lalit Yadav got out in a rare fashion in the game against GT

Lalit Yadav played a really handy knock in Delhi Capitals’ first game against Mumbai Indians, where the batsman remained unbeaten on 48 and saw his team home along with Axar Patel. Unfortunately, he couldn’t replicate the same in the second match as he got run-out in a very interesting way. The batsman could only score 25 runs for his team before he was dismissed.

The unique run-out came in the 12th over of the Delhi Capitals inning when Vijay Shankar was bowling to Rishabh Pant. The Delhi skipper worked the ball away to the leg-side and both the batsmen went for the second run which brought about the fall of Lalit Yadav. The interesting part about the dismissal was that Shankar had dislodged one of the bails with his foot before breaking the stumps, however the second bail was still intact which he broke after getting the ball in his hands and caught Yadav short of his crease.

Pant and Lalit Yadav steadied the ship for Delhi Capitals after they lost 3 early wickets. The duo was involved in a 61-run partnership before Yadav was run-out. Following his dismissal, the Delhi team kept losing wickets and lost the plot from there on. The lower order was left with too much to do and eventually the team lost the match.
