Rashid was the one who later broke their long 74 run partnership.

Mumbai Indians have finally got a thrilling and amazing start to their opening partnership as Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan displayed a good amount of shots all around the Brabourne stadium where they faced Gujarat Titans on Friday. While the fans and experts expected a good start for the match but unfortunately that didn’t happen either.

On Friday, however, Rohit left no stone unturned and looked in exquisite form from the first over. He began with a few stunning shots before scooping Mohammed Shami over fine leg and pulling one 150 KPH ball from Lockie Ferguson for a boundary.

Even luck seemed to favour the five-time champions, as Ishan Kishan’s inside edges also appeared to be aiming for the boundary. Rashid Khan made a funny misfield. The leg-spinner did well to grab the ball, but tossed the ball onto his leg, resulting in an overthrow that allowed Kishan to get back for two. The GT captain Hardik Pandya couldn’t help but laughed at Rashid Khan’s blunder.
