Hardik Pandya loses his cool on Mohammed Shami
After winning 3 matches on the trot, Gujarat Titans faced their first defeat of IPL against Sunrisers Hyderabad, who registered their second win in a row. As the match progressed, things got tense and the GT skipper looked under pressure. Williamson frustrated the team further with his half-century. When the chance finally came to dismiss an SRH batsman, Shami dropped a catch which made Hardik Pandya loses his cool.
The incident came on the last delivery of the 13th over when Rahul Tripathi was facing Hardik Pandya. The GT skipper was already hit for two maximums by Williamson on the second and third delivery of the over. Tripathi tried to steer the last ball and almost handed a catch to Shami who was patrolling at deep third man. To Pandya’s frustration, the fielder dropped the catch which irked the GT captain who hurled loud words full of angst.
