After the dramatic run-out dismissal, the Indian women’s team defeated England’s women’s team and capture the clean sweep in 3 match ODI series.

This is the farewell match of our Indian veteran bowler Jhulan Goswami and the team gave them the last match with a terrific win against England.

Controversial run-out incident in the match

In the match, the Indian team gave a target of 170 runs to England. On making a target of 170, England women’s team batting collapsed like a pack of cards. They just scored 118 runs in the loss of 9 wickets, then charlotte Dean and Freya Davies stands in the middle for England and made a partnership of 35 runs and get closer to the match.

But then on the 44th over, the controversial run-out incident took place in the match. Indian all-rounder Deepti Sharma is bowling the over and the England team needs 17 runs to the par line but on the fourth bowl of the over DeeptiMankad the non-striker and run-out Charlotte Dean. Then, the umpire goes to check the run out upwards and gets her out. 

Harmanpreet kaur’s fabulous reply to the Presenter

The Indian team captain Harmanpreet Kaur supported his player for the run-out and stand in his favor in the post-match press conference and shuts the mouth of the presenter who ask this question with his fabulous reply.

“To be honest, I thought you will ask about all ten wickets because they were not easy to take,” said Harmanpreet, drawing gigantic cheers from the crowd.

It’s a part of the game. I don’t think we have done something new, you can always take those chances. It shows that you are aware about what the batters are doing. I will back my player because I don’t think she has done anything that isn’t in the ICC rules.” She further added.

“Everything is part of the game. At the end of the day, a win is a win and you need to enjoy that,”

The Indian star gun for over the years Jhulan Goswami made an impact in his farewell match as well. She took two wickets in the match and just conceded 30 runs in her ten overs.
