Pakistani pacer Hasan Ali went through a hard time in the T20 World Cup 2021. He became the talking point of the second semifinal between Pakistan and Australia as his drop catch in the penultimate over cost men in green the match and the chance to play in the final of the grand event.
It’s been over a month since that happened but Hasan is again back in the news. After the conclusion of the Pakistan Super League 2022 players’ draft, the 27-year-old fast bowler did not give an answer of the question asked by a journalist in the press conference.
As the journalist urged to complete his question, Hasan repeatedly replied with the same response “Next question please.” Miffed with the reply, the reporter commented on Hasan’s attitude and said, “this is not good behavior.”
After a while, the right-arm pacer engaged in a war of words with the journalist, saying “First you write good things on Twitter, and then I’ll give answers. Ok? You shouldn’t be personal with anyone. As PCB (Pakistan Cricket Board) can’t stop you (from asking questions), at least we have the right.” Hasan was then calmed down as other Islamabad United officials interfered.

Reason behind Hasan Ali’s bizarre behavior towards the journalist
Many of you would be wondering about Hasan’s bizarre behavior but he had a reason to ignore the journalist. The reporter’s name is Anas Saeed, who earlier this year accused Hasan of not abiding by the Covid protocols. He shared a video of the cricketer on Twitter and wrote, “Simply put, according to the protocol, it is necessary to wear a mask while traveling. Those who take it off may be fined.”

The tweet did not go down well with Hasan, who in response wrote, “Don’t create drama please with old videos. Check your facts first. No need to give fake masala, expect better from u.”
