The 1st test match of Ind vs Eng 2021 series is currently up at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. So far in the earlier stage of the match, England is dominating the hosts as they have set a good score on the board and still keeping it running. Indian bowlers are struggling to get the English batsmen out, skipper Joe Root is showing his class and making difficulties level up for the hosts. Meanwhile, during the second day of the match, Jasprit Bumrah bowled a wrenching yorker to Ben Stokes and almost gets him out but luckily Stokes survived.
Jasprit Bumrah’s Yorker To Ben Stokes
It all happened on the fourth ball of the 92nd over of England’s 1st innings, when stokes just came to bat in the early morning along with skipper Joe Root. It was Jasprit Bumrah’s second over of the day and he bowled a stunning yorker to Ben Stokes and almost gets out him for a duck. Luckily, Stokes survived and then played a beautiful inning of 82 off just 118 balls.

The yorker from Bumrah was that much impressive even the commentators got surprised how Stokes get survived. Commentator Murali Karthik said, “Ohh…. How did he (Jasprit Bumrah) not get wicket there?” BCCI uploaded the video with the title, “BOOM’s booming yorker to Stokes.” “Bumrah bowls the perfect yorker to Stokes. Surprise all around as Stokes keeps it away in the nick of time,” BCCI added in the caption.

So far in the match, England team batting line up has dominated the Indian bowlers. At the end of the 133 overs, England’s score is 401 for four wickets. And skipper Joe Root, who is playing his 100th match, still holding the one end. He has scored 176* and still batting like a rock in front of the Indian bowling unit.
