India’s wicketkeeper KL Rahul drew plaudits for his sensational catch against Bangladesh during the 17th match of the ongoing edition of the ICC Men’s ODI World Cup. KL Rahul kept the wickets superbly so far in the game in which he remained alert because of which, he was able to take a one-handed scorcher to dismiss Bangladesh’s prospect Mehidy Hasan Miraz.

The incident happened during the first ball of the 25th over, when India’s right-arm paceman, Mohammed Siraj was brought into the bowling attack by Rohit Sharma. The Indian captain’s bowling change did the trick and provided a much-needed breakthrough for Team India. Siraj got rid of Mehidy Hasan Miraz with a cross-seam delivery which was going down the leg stump.
