Khushdil Shah then went for a slog on the fourth delivery but missed the shot after which he ran for a bye. An overthrow from the bowler allowed Multan Sultans to get the second run. Khushdil then went on to score a boundary on the fifth delivery over the cover region.
Multan Sultans then needed a boundary off the last ball to get the title or 3 runs to take the game to the Super over. Zaman bowled another yorker which was played towards the mid-wicket region by Khushdil. The duo completed 2 runs but couldn’t complete the third run in order to level the scores.
