Mohammad Amir is one of Pakistan’s great talents. Known for his brilliant bowling skills, Amir once dominated international cricket but the controversies never left his side. Last year, the pacer shocked the cricketing fraternity with the announcement of his premature retirement from international cricket.

However, the former Pakistan fast bowler is still very much active in franchise cricket. From the Pakistan Super League to the Bangladesh Premier League, Amir has donned the jersey of many franchises. The 29-year-old cricketer is currently playing in the Lanka Premier League.

Mohammad Amir gives a fiery send-off to Avishka Fernando

Playing for Galle Gladiators, Amir impressed everyone with his outstanding bowling spell in Qualifier 1 against Jaffna Kings. Getting smacked for a six in the 1st ball of the spell, there could not have been a poorer start for the pacer. Avishka Fernando flicked a delivery off his hips for a gigantic six.

The pacer bounced back in the very next ball. Bowling an inswinging full delivery, Amir aimed to make the batsman go for an on-drive. Avishka missed the ball completely and the stumps got shattered. Amir, who seemed rattled after the six, did not forget to give the batsman a send-off after dismissing him.
