Indian Premier League is in it’s second half and the teams are battling with their full might to get a spot in the playoffs. The table-toppers Gujarat Titans faced the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the 43rd game of the season (RCB). Interestingly, RCB captain Faf du Plessis defied convention by electing to bat first after winning the toss. The game began on time as well, but after only one ball, there was a significant amount of pause that left numerous individuals puzzled.

Mohammed Shami delivered a good delivery which made Virat Kohli come forward and defend it to mid-off. The bowler, on the other hand, had a couple of false starts and didn’t appear to be pleased with his bowling run-up. Shami requested the measuring tape to mark his run-up once more after assessing what was causing the problem for him.

The procedure was bound to take some time away from the game, and the umpire was not pleased with the bowler for the same thing. Mohammed Shami, on the other hand, explained his predicament and labelled his run-up once more. It took him some time, and the first over of the game itself was extended.
