Murugan Ashwin goes airborne to pluck a stunner
While Madhuri was defending their minimum target of 123 runs against a strong Dindigul side Murugan Ashwin provide a moment of magic on the field. While Arun was batting on just 3 runs Gurjapneet Singh delivered a quick length ball which he miscued.
The ball was about to land in the no man’s land but then out of nowhere Murugan came like a flying bird and grabbed a stunner. His joy in celebration was clearly evident as he threw the ball in the air aggressively.

The thing which made the catch even better was the way he kept his eye on the ball even after running backward and then launching himself to hold onto it.
His fielding brilliance is giving him the shoutout of winning the best catch of the tournament already.
Madurai Panthers suffered back-to-back defeats
Despite the exceptional effort by the leg spinner Panthers couldn’t manage to defeat Ravichandran Ashwin’s Dindigul side. After winning the toss Dragons chose to bowl first and restricted the Panthers to just 123 runs. Saravana Kumar and Subosh Bhati took three wickets each in getting the Panthers all out on such a low score.
Then while chasing the total they didn’t find any such difficulty despite Murugan’s outstanding grab did shift the momentum on the other side. Except for that catch, no bowler managed to break the partnership between Indrajith and Adhitya Ganesh.

The wicket-keeper batter Indrajith proved to be the difference between the two sides as he scored 78 off 48 which made the chase light work for Ashwin and his men.
They finished up the game inside 15 overs and won the game with 7 wickets spare.
The win on Sunday took the Dindigul Dragons to the top of the table on the other hand Madurai has dropped to the bottom of the table.
