Cricket audience witnessed a bizarre scene in the in the 3rd Pakistan vs England T20I at the National Stadium in Karachi.

The unusual incident took place on the fourth delivery of the 17th over of England innings when Brook was surprised by a sharp bouncer from Pakistan pacer Rauf.

The aggressive English opener tried to sway away from the bouncer which kept on following him. As he took his eyes off the ball, it managed to deflect past his chin and into his helmet’s visor.

While Brook didn’t suffer any injury, the reaction from Pakistan players amused everyone on the ground. Haris Rauf quickly ran to Brook and checked if he was and then had a cheeky conversation with him following a friendly hug.

Pakistan wicketkeeper Mohammad Rizwan too checked for Brook’s safety after he got stuck by the bouncer as the ball kept stucked in the helmet’s visor.

The crucial partnership between Brook and Duckett allowed the visitors to post a hefty total of 222 runs which they defended quite comfortably as Pakistan felt short by 63 runs.

This exemplary performance by English batters allowed their team to take a 2-1 lead in their seven-match T20I series vs Pakistan which is the last series for both these sides before they arrive down under for the T20 World Cup.
