The question wasn’t greeted by the PCB chief as he replied saying, “Aap India se honge? Aap to bade khush honge? (Are you from India? You must be very happy then?)”.

Not just that, Raja progressed a few steps forward and could be seen grabbing the person’s mobile phone who asked the question. Though, the PCB chief give back it right away and left the stadium before responding to a few more questions asked by the journalists present at the exit of the stadium.

The Indian journalist’s name is Rohit Juglan; he is from the sports youtube channel named Sports Yaari and is covering Asia cup 2022 very efficiently and enthusiastically.

The journalist tweeted and shared the video on social media platforms about this incident

“ kya mera sawal galat tha – Pakistan ke fans nakhush nhi hai – yeh bahut galat tha ek board ke chairman ke roop mein – aapko mera phone nhi cheena chahiye tha .”

(if he asked the wrong question. He even mentioned that Raja, being the president of a national cricket board, should not have taken the phone.)

This Asia cup win for Sri Lanka is a big moral booster for a young and transitioned team and maybe they carry this form in the world cup as well.
