The third Test between India and England witnessed a healthy contest, which saw both teams fighting a terrific battle as far as the first two days were concerned. India were bowled out for 445 runs in the first innings, courtesy of centuries from Rohit Sharma (131) and Ravindra Jadeja (112). Debutant Sarfaraz Khan looked a million dollars with his maiden Test fifty as he chipped in with 62 whereas Dhruv Jurel pitched in with 46 in the lower order. Mark Wood was the pick of the bowlers for England as he accounted for four dismissals.

On the other hand, England’s batters literally gave the hosts a run for their money as they batted quite brilliantly well from the get-go. Ben Duckett remained unbeaten at 133 as England ended Day 2 with 207/2. They still trail by 238 runs and Indian bowlers still have plenty of catching up to do to get back on track. The best part of the day was when Ravichandran Ashwin dismissed Zak Crawley to get his landmark 500th Test wicket.

Rohit Sharma savagely trolls Ravindra Jadeja for bowling no-balls in Rajkot Test

During England’s innings, Indian skipper Rohit Sharma was at his savage best as he took a hilarious dig at Ravindra Jadeja for bowling no-balls on Day 2. Jadeja who scored 112 (9 fours and 2 sixes) with the bat, looked out of control with the ball as he bowled two no-balls. This triggered skipper Rohit Sharma to pass a hilarious remark on Jadeja, which left the cricket fraternity in splits.

He jokingly stated that Jadeja never bowls these many no balls in the Indian Premier League before adding that he should think it’s a T20 game and approach it accordingly. “Yaar, ye Jadeja IPL mein to itne no-balls nahi dalta. T20 samajh ke bowling kar, Jaddu. (Man, Jadeja doesn’t bowl this many no-balls in IPL. Think it’s a T20 game and bowl),” Rohit said to Jadeja. The Indian captain’s comments were caught in the stump mic and the netizens poured in with hilarious reactions to the viral video clip.
