Team India has played two high-intensity games in the past few days and unfortunately for them, in both the games they ended up on the losing side. It’s a common sight in cricket when cricketers lose their temper on the field due to the pressure of the game and the amount of pressure the captain carries on his shoulders is immense. Something of this sort was seen in the game between India vs Sri Lanka where Rohit Sharma’s rude behaviour toward Arshdeep Singh was caught on camera.
Rohit Sharma’s rude behaviour with Arshdeep goes viral
Rohit Sharma led the Indian team and took the field yesterday in a must-win game against Sri Lanka. The Indian fans were hoping for a victory, however, what transpired on the field has dented India’s chances of reaching the final completely. Things got intense as the game moved to its final few overs and the fans noticed Rohit Sharma’s rude behaviour toward Arshdeep Singh; the video of which has gone viral on the internet.
The Indian bowlers once again crumbled into pressure as they couldn’t defend 173 runs. It was the 19th over once again where India leaked a lot of runs and left only 7 for young Arshdeep to defend. Though the bowler gave his best, it was too much to ask from the young lad. The last over of the Sri Lankan inning also witnessed Rohit Sharma’s rude behaviour with the bowler which is being severely dismissed by the fans online.
The Sri Lankan team needed 21 runs off 12 balls and the skipper Rohit Sharma gave the ball to his most experienced bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar who couldn’t redeem himself and once again leaked 14 runs. The last over was given to Arshdeep Singh with only 7 runs in the kitty to play with and the bowler gave it all to defend it. It was during this over when Arshdeep seemed to say something to his captain who just walked away from the bowler without listening to him.

Rohit Sharma’s rude behaviour was noticed by the fans who criticised the Indian captain for the way he treated his young team member. After the loss against Sri Lanka, team India is almost out of the tournament with one match to play against Afghanistan on Thursday. Team India will definitely look back at their bowling performance and try to get things right before the T20 World Cup begins in Australia.
