Vitality T20 blast witnessed an unexpected incident when Steven Mullaney took a caught-and-bowled wicket to dismiss Colin Ackermann with the assistance of the non-striker batsman. Leicestershire’s captain Colin Ackermann, was batting at it was the 13th over of the second innings when Steven took the catch with the help of non-striker Wiaan Mulder. The incident left the captain in disbelief.

Leicestershire, when chasing a total of 166, however, they fell short by 22 runs. They are currently standing on the 9th position of the points table and have only won 2 of their 11 matches.

Initially, Steven fumbled the catch at first, however, in a remarkable turn of events, he eventually ended up taking the catch. In the meantime, Mulder was also speechless, as he struggled to find words to eloquent the nature of Colin’s dismissal. It is arguably, a never-seen-before catch taken by Steven Mullaney.
