Indian cricketer Suryakumar Yadav has been incredibly exceptional on the field in the recently concluded game against the Netherlands cricket team at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. He gave absolutely everything on the field to save a few runs for the team, courtesy of his electrifying pace and ability to attempt a dive to prevent the ball from touching the boundary rope.
He drew plaudits for his dynamic fielding not once but twice against the Dutch cricket team. During the fifth ball of the first over, Jasprit Bumrah tossed a full delivery that was directed towards the outside off region, which gave enough time for the Netherlands’ opener Wesley Barresi to drive through the point. Meanwhile, Suryakumar desperately wanted to save a run so he made a slide before flicking the ball back to save a run.

During the last ball of the 8th over of the Netherlands’ innings, Suryakumar Yadav once again hogged the limelight with his sheer fielding brilliance. Colin Ackermann punched Mohammad Shami’s delivery through the cover-point and the ball was travelling at a rapid pace, courtesy of the fast outfield. However, Suryakumar Yadav never gave up as he was determined to chase down till the end before he dived in the followthrough.

Suryakumar Yadav quickly grabbed the ball in his right hand before throwing it backwards. Meanwhile, Ravindra Jadeja who also sprinted for a backup collected the ball and threw it towards the wicketkeeper’s end. Suryakumar Yadav’s sensational dive helped the team another run. Virat Kohli was also seen giving an interesting reaction and the entire episode regarding the same has gone viral on social media.

Talking about the game, India posted a humongous total of 410/4 in their quota of 50 overs. On the other side of the coin, the Netherlands were bundled out for 250. Team India won the game by a huge margin of 160 runs. Shreyas Iyer who scored 128* off 94 balls (10 fours and 5 sixes) was named the Man of the Match.
