In the second innings of the game, India lost a wicket in a very crunch situation of the chase. The Kiwi spinners managed to get the best out of Indian batters even with the minimal score of 100 runs. Santner, Sodhi, Phillips, and Bracewell bowled tight overs in the middle which never let the Indian batsman put pressure on New Zealand.

Sundar sacrificed his wicket after a mix-up with Suryakumar

During the 15th over of the innings, an lbw appeal was made against Suryakumar Yadav. Philips’s tossed-up deliveries struck on the pads of Surya while he was trying to reverse sweep it. SKY missed the reverse sweep and ran without even looking at his partner on the other end.
