The initial match saw a multitude of moments which were awe to the audience. But, the audience was left speechless in one such incident where N Jagadeesan and Baba Aparajith got into an argument. Aparajith took off the bails and sent off Jagadeesan towards the pavilion as he was caught Mankad in the 4th over. Aparajith had given a minor hint in the previous ball by not bowling the delivery and giving a warning to Jagadeesan.

Reacting to it, Jagadeesan bluntly showed his middle finger to Aparajith while departing to the pavilion. The incident erupted a number of fans in the stadium and even the fans watching at home. The commentators were clearly heard saying that he could be penalised for this aggressive behaviour and might even be banned.
