Bangladesh got off to a tremendous start with the help of Tanzid Hasan and Litton Das.
The duo started the innings at a sedate pace and smartly went about their work. They slowly mounted pressure on the Indians who looked visibly hapless in stopping the partnership. During the ninth over, Litton Das was in attacking mode as he smashed two consecutive fours off Hardik Pandya’s bowling. In the third ball, the right-hander purely relied on timing as he executed a sensational straight drive.
Meanwhile, Hardik Pandya, after his run-up attempted to stop the ball with his right leg and ended up slipping in the process wherein he got injured in the follow-through. He was literally wobbling towards his run-up and the physios rushed onto the field to have a look at Hardik Pandya’s condition. Hardik Pandya got his ankle taped by the physios before he was eventually taken off the field.
