WATCH- Virat Kohli Furious Over Jadeja’s Controversial Run Out: After winning T20Is series against West Indies, Team India is currently playing three matches ODIs series. The first match of the series has been played on Sunday at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. Meanwhile, West Indies after winning the toss invited the hosts to bat first in the first game of the ongoing series.
During India’s innings, a controversial run-out forced India’s captain Virat Kohli to get furious. However, it doesn’t affect the decision of the umpire as originally Jadeja was out. Actually, Indian all-rounder, Ravindra Jadeja has indeed dismissed in a controversial manner thanks to the main umpire.
It all happened in the 48th over when Keemo Paul bowled a full-length delivery outside off to Ravindra Jadeja and the India star pushed it towards silly mid-off before setting off for a quick single. The fielder hit the stump but Jadeja looked safe and umpire Shaun George decided not to go for TV umpire review as West Indies didn’t make that much appeal and they also thought that Jadeja was safe.
However, as soon as West Indies players see the replay of the same on the giant screen, captain Kieron Pollard approached the umpire asking him to refer for the third umpire. Thereafter, the on-field umpire decided to go for third umpire and Jadeja was given out. As umpire has taken time to refer the decision to TV umpire, hence, Indian skipper Virat got furious.
