Virat Kohli then bowed down to Dean Elgar as he was walking back to the dugout after his final Test innings. The moment of respect from the legendary batter earns him netizens praise. This isn’t the first instance; Virat Kohli has demonstrated sportsmanship for opponents on the field. Previous incidents involving players like Steve Smith and Naveen Ul Haq have seen Kohli taking a stand for them.

Meanwhile, Dean Elgar ended his Test career with 5347 runs and 14 centuries in 83 matches. He bid adieu as only the 8th South African to cross the 5000-run mark in Test Cricket. The 36-year-old batsman now retired from international cricket, however, he will continue to play for his domestic side, Titans.
