Samarjitsinh Gaekwad was born into the royal family of Baroda back in 1967. He was crowned King in 2012 when his father Ranjitsinh Pratapsinh Gaekwad died.

Samarjitsinh was crowned King in the Laxmi Vilas Palace on 22nd June 2022 and since then his fortune has changed. He was known for setting the 23-year-old legal inheritance dispute of around 340 Billion INR.

The King of Baroda studied in the ‘Doon School’ in Dehradun where he excelled in the school’s Cricket, Football, and tennis team. He was a great sportsman since his childhood and he always supported discipline till now.

He has featured in 6 Ranji Trophy games during the 1987/88 to 1988/89 season for the Baroda side. As far as his records are concerned the player he made 119 runs in the 6 matches and bagged a half-century as well batting at the top order.
