Slowly but steadily, international cricket is coming back on track with the ongoing England vs West Indies Test series. However, Indian players are still not back on ground owing to COVID-19. Before playing any match, players need to achieve a very good level of fitness.

To fulfill the same, BCCI is contemplating to conduct a training camp for its players in Ahmedabad under a bio-secure bubble before IPL 2020, which is going to take place in UAE from September 26. Now, the question everyone has in their mind is regarding the ace wicketkeeper-batsman MS Dhoni’s involvement in the camp.

People are excited to know whether Dhoni will be a part of BCCI’s training camp in Ahmedabad. Unfortunately, the answer to this question is ‘NO’.

Dhoni is ineligible to take part

The reason why Dhoni won’t be participating in the camp is very simple. The camp that is going to be organized is only for the BCCI contracted players. As per the 2019-20 contract, Dhoni isn’t a part of the BCCI central contracts. This means Dhoni won’t be a part of the camp as he is ineligible for the same. According to reports, the camp will be organized in Motera stadium.

The players who will be a part of the training camp are as follows:
