The 2-match test series between West Indies and Pakistan is currently underway in the Caribbean. The first test match is currently being played at Sabina Park, Jamaica. The hosts are currently ahead in the game, though with not a big margin. At the end of the Day 2 of the first test, West Indies managed to take a lead of 34 runs at the loss of 8 wickets. Joshua Da Silva and Jomel Warrican are the overnight batsmen for the Windies.

With some nice competition between the bat and the ball what was missing in the match was a moment of fun and laughter. The third umpire somehow mistakenly delivered the fun element. It happened when the run out of the West Indies Captain Kraigg Brathwaite was referred to the Third umpire by the On-field umpires. The Third Umpire mistakenly displayed a music playlist on the big screen rather than the decision. While everyone was waiting for the decision to be displayed on the screen, they were left amazed when they saw a music playlist.

Kraigg Brathwaite was batting well and had held up one end since the start of the innings. While he was on the personal score of 97, he flicked a ball to the fine-leg and attempted to run for two. Hasan Ali who was at the fine-leg position quickly grabbed the ball and rocketed the throw. The ball directly hit the stumps at the keeper’s end.  Brathwaite fell short and missed a well-deserved century.

The Windies Allrounder, Jason Holder, as well played a handy knock for his team. He scored 58 runs to stable the innings for his team. Early in the innings, the West Indies had lost 2 quick wickets with just 1 run on the board. Kieran Powell and Nkrumah Bonner got out without scoring a run. Despite the early blows, the Windies did well to make a comeback in the game. Mohammad Abbas took the maximum, 3 wickets, for Pakistan.
