Yuvraj Singh pulls Shubman Gill’s leg following the latter’s Instagram post

Former India cricketer Yuvraj Singh was one of the most flamboyant personalities in the Indian cricket team. The left-handed batsman was known for his fearlessness on the field and was a vital cog in the Indian setup. He is very much active on social media and has a knack of trolling other cricketers with his hilarious comments. This time, it’s the youngster Shubman Gill who has come in the line of fire.

Gill made his debut for team India in 2019 against New Zealand but he couldn’t really make use of the opportunity given. He was recently picked in the Indian team for the Australian tour but warmed the bench for the first two ODIs as team India went with Mayank Agarwal as an opener accompanying Shikhar Dhawan. However, the young lad was given a chance to play in the third ODI while Agarwal was rested.

“Maharaj jeb vicho hath kado”: Yuvraj Singh

He looked very good and played various shots for his well-made 33 which included 3 boundaries and a six before getting out to Ashton Agar playing a sweep shot. Expressing his joy, Gill posted two pictures on Instagram from the third ODI which caught the attention of Yuvraj Singh who didn’t leave a chance to pull Gill’s leg.

In one of the pictures that he posted; Gill was seen keeping his hands in his pocket with the other teammates surrounding him. Yuvraj Singh commented, “Indeed a pleasure batting alongside the great @virat.kohli ! Maharaj jeb vicho hath kado india da match chal reha hai club da nahi (translates to: Take your hands out of the pockets. It’s India’s match, not any club).”
