Yuvraj Singh Wants This Bollywood Actor To Portray His Biopic: In recent time, the Bollywood directors are highly taking interest in producing the films on the life of Sportspersons. Biopics are always financially rewarding as the viewers are highly interested to know about the personal lives and struggle of their stars. And now the latest biopic of former India batsman Yuvraj Singh could be added to the group.

However, yet there is no official update on the on Yuvraj Singh’s biopic but according to a report by Latestly, the 38-year-old was asked who he thinks can portray him the best on-screen. And with his answer, Yuvraj Singh has given hints that the biopic is going to be made soon.

In the recent history of biopics, Priyanka Chopra played the role of Mary Kom while Sushant Singh Rajput played the character of MS Dhoni. Bollywood actor Farhan Akhtar has also given a hit while chipped in as Milkha Singh in the biopic. And Taapsee Pannu will portray Indian women cricket star Mithali Raj in the biopic.

Besides, Parineeti Chopra will play the character of shuttler Saina Nehwal while Ranveer Singh will be portraying Kapil Dev in a period film on India’s World Cup win in 1983.

According to the report of Latestly, the former Indian cricketer was recently asked about his thinking that who can portray him best in his biopic. While answering the question, Yuvraj Singh comes up with the name of Siddhant Chaturvedi, who impressed everyone with his performance in his debut film ‘Gully Boy’.

“Probably, I’d play myself — that would be a bit desperate… (chuckles) hai, na? See, that’s the director’s job to decide. If it’s going to be a Bollywood film, then Siddhant Chaturvedi — the guy who played MC Sher in ‘Gully Boy’ is a good option; I’d love to see him in the film,” he remarked.

Siddhant Chaturvedi probably is a good choice for Yuvraj Singh’s biopic as the 26-year-old actor has already featured himself as a cricketer in Amazon Prime’s web series ‘Inside Edge’. Chaturvedi is currently busy filming his second film ‘Bunty Aur Babli 2’ with Rani Mukherji, Sair Ali Khan and others.
