Yuvraj Singh Warns Virat Kohli & Ravi Shastri: Stop Making Stupid Tactics

Team India is currently using different tactics for the upcoming T20 World Cup in Australia. However, some of the experts and fans are not liking these irrelevant tactics from Virat Kohli and Ravi Shastri. Actually, Team India is applying different combinations like 7 batsmen in Team and only proper 4 bowlers. Recently, Indian formers all-rounder Yuvraj Singh has come up with a warning to Virat and Ravi Shastri. Actually he said that Team is applying stupid combinations.

What is the Full Story?

Currently, Team is preparing for their next assignment i.e. T20 World Cup in Australia. However, some experts are not liking Team management’s decision. Meanwhile, ahead of South Africa T20 Series Virat Kohli had expressed that Team wants depth in the batting order.

“That (batting depth) was one of the reasons, it also to give opportunities to the guys who have done well in the domestic format and the T20 format, in the IPL also,”  Virat expressed ahead of South Africa series. Recently, Team India has dropped Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal because of the problem in lower-order batting.

However, Indian former all-rounder, Yuvraj Singh is thinking something different. According to him, there is a strong need for proper bowlers in Team. The former all-rounder said that it is important to play the main bowlers in order to succeed.

“It is very stupid to think that we (Team India) have to bat deep. In the last 3 to 4 years during every IPL auction, most of the money is spent on the bowlers. The thinktank needs to understand that you have to have main bowlers like Jasprit Bumrah, Yuzvendra Chahal, Kuldeep Yadav. Especially if you are playing on flat tracks, you need very good bowlers,” Yuvraj told India Today.

“You need really good bowlers to win the T20 World Cup. Yes, we have a great batting side. We have Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma. Middle-order you know, Shreyas Iyer has done very well in the ODIs. So batting is not an issue but you need bowlers to win the World Cup. Definitely (on bringing wrist-spinners). My thinking is it is very easy to hit pacers but to reach out to the pitch of a delivery bowled by a spinner may create problems for you,” he added.
