Currently, the T20 format is the most popular and widely played format in the globe. Meanwhile, there is also T10 cricket, which is even shorter than the T20 format. Each team gets to play 10 overs where players can showcase their skills in a limited time. Zim Afro T10 tournament is also being introduced to increase the popularity of the 10-over format. The Zim Afro T10 cricket league will announce its arrival for the first time in July 2023. The upcoming T10 tournament is founded by Shaji Ul Mulk, the chairman of the T10 League.

As many as five teams will partake in the tourney. Bulawayo Braves, Cape Town Samp Army, Durban Qalandars, Harare Hurricanes and Joburg Buffaloes will make their presence count in the inaugural edition. The first season will go all guns blazing from July 20 to 29. In fact, all the games will be held in Harare. It will be quite interesting to see which team braves the challenges and comes out on top in the end.

Meanwhile, six retired Indian cricketers are set to take part in the league. They are none other than Stuart Binny (Cape Town Samp Army), Sreesanth (Harare Hurricanes), Irfan Pathan (Harare Hurricanes), Parthiv Patel (Cape Town Samp Army), Yusuf Pathan (Joburg Buffaloes) and Robin Uthappa (Harare Hurricanes).

The aforementioned names might have retired from international cricket but they still have got cricket left in them. Since these many names from India are set to take part in the competition, the T10 cricket games will generate a massive viewership in India. Sreesanth is the player to watch out for in the trimmed format.
