The hosts were already on the back foot facing two early blows, and then Ravi Bishnoi taking the stunner even further demoralized them.

Zimbabwe batter Brian Bennett attempted to cut Avesh Khan’s delivery. While he timed it well, he didn’t get enough elevation. The ball was heading just above Ravi Bishnoi, but with incredible reflexes, he made a full-stretch jump and managed to pluck the ball out of thin air. The catch left his Indian teammates in awe who were unable to contain their emotions. Even Brian Bennett, the batter, seemed impressed as he had a smile on his face.

Bishnoi’s stunning catch put Zimbabwe into a precarious position while chasing 182 runs. With Brian’s dismissal, the hosts were 3 wickets down for 19 runs. Despite a couple of partnerships after this, they couldn’t keep up with the required run rate. Dion Mayers played an unbeaten knock of 65 runs off 49 balls, but they fell 23 runs short of India’s score.

Ravi Bishnoi received appreciation for his catch in the 3rd ZIM vs IND T20, although he went wicketless in the game. However, he bowled brilliantly in the first two games, and with 6 wickets, he is the highest wicket-taker in the series. He bagged a 4-fer in the very first game of the series.
