Motera Stadium of Ahmedabad, Gujarat will host India and England in 5 T20 matches. The series is set to commence on 12 March. BCCI has announced in February 2021 that they will put the tickets for the upcoming India vs England t20 series on sale. It will be the first limited-overs series at the venue after its seating capacity has increased to 1,10,000. Two test matches to be played at Ahmedabad before the mentioned series.
Less than half of the tickets will be there to buy due to precautionary measures. The pavilion and terrace stands will have no spectators as BCCI doesn’t want fans to go near players. Because of this reason Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TNCA) sold only 15,000 tickets for 2nd match. Earlier, BCCI has planned to welcome the crowd with 1st test. However, the board communicated regarding this with TNCA too late and later had left with no time for arrangement.
