Some cricketers retire from the game and slowly move away from it. Sachin Tendulkar clearly is not one of them. Even years after finishing his international career, the batting legend still seems happiest with a bat in his hand. This time, he gave fans a fun and wholesome moment from inside a flight, where he turned a normal journey into a mini cricket session with his family.
The video, which Sachin shared on social media, quickly went viral. Fans loved watching the former India star play cricket with his daughter Sara Tendulkar and daughter-in-law Saaniya Chandhok inside a private jet.
Honestly, it did not even feel surprising. For cricket fans who grew up watching Sachin, it almost felt natural to see him finding a way to play cricket even at 35,000 feet in the air.
Sachin brings out his old confidence again
In the clip, Saaniya bowled soft underarm deliveries while Sachin calmly defended them inside the aircraft cabin. Sara stood nearby, trying to help dismiss one of the greatest batters the game has ever seen.
At one point, after comfortably handling a few deliveries, Sachin smiled and confidently said, “You’ll never get me out.” That one line probably reminded fans of the old days when bowlers around the world struggled to dismiss him on actual cricket grounds.

The best part came moments later. To make things harder for himself, Sachin flipped the bat upside down and started batting with the handle side. Most people would struggle to even touch the ball like that, but he still managed to connect comfortably. Even in a casual family game, his timing looked sharp.
Sara nearly completed a catch during one attempt but dropped it. However, she grabbed the next opportunity and celebrated excitedly after finally dismissing her father. Everyone inside the aircraft burst into laughter, making the moment feel genuine and natural rather than something planned for social media.
Sachin captioned the video with a funny line: “Altitude jo bhi ho, attitude change nahi hona chahiye.” Fans instantly connected with it, and the clip spread rapidly online.
Social media users filled the comments section with jokes and admiration. Some said cricket is simply part of Sachin’s DNA. Others joked that even after retirement, nobody can properly get him out.

But beyond the humour, people also appreciated how normal and grounded the moment felt. Sachin is one of the biggest sporting icons India has ever produced, yet he still shares these small family moments that feel relatable to fans.
That has always been one of the biggest reasons behind his popularity. Sachin Tendulkar played 463 One-Day Internationals for India and scored 18,426 runs at an average of 44.83. The legendary opener smashed 49 centuries and 96 half-centuries in the format, records that stood unmatched for many years. Sachin also became the first batter in men’s ODI cricket to score a double century when he made 200 not out against South Africa in 2010.
On the other side of the coin, he represented India in 200 matches. Overall, he scored 15,921 runs at an average of 53.78. He hit 51 Test centuries and 68 fifties during his remarkable career. The Indian batting maestro faced some of the best bowlers across different generations and performed successfully in almost every cricket-playing nation. From Australia to England and South Africa, he delivered memorable innings in difficult conditions. Notably, he is the leading run-scorer in international cricket with 34,357 runs.
