On Thursday, the Indian team get back to India after clinching a historic win over Australia at their home. This is India’s second consecutive win in the Border Gavaskar series. In the final match of the tour, India not only wins the test match at the Gabba, Brisbane for the first time but also Australia gets defeated at the venue after 33 years. After this big win, skipper Ajinkya Rahane gets grand welcome at the house in Mumbai. It is Rahane’s refusing to cut the cake with Kangaroo shaped thing on it which gets the spotlight.

Actually, when Indian skipper Ajinkya Rahane arrives at his home in Mumbai, he gets a grand welcome from his neighbours. Rahahne’s entire neighbourhood gathered at the place to congratulate him for the feat he has earned in the tour of Australia.
During this grand welcome, Rahane’s neighbours arranged a cake for his welcome. However, he refuses to cut the cake and after knowing the reason to refuse everyone is hailing Indian batsman.
Ajinkya Rahane Refuses To Cut The Cake At House In Mumbai
Indian class batsman is not only a classical at the field but also he shows class off-the-field too when refuse to cut the cake with Kangaroo shaped thing on it. It all happens when Rahane was about to cut the cake but he noticed Kangaroo shaped thing on it and refuse to cut it. Let you all know that Kangaroo is the national animal of Australia and sometimes the Australian team is also referred to Kangaroos. This was an obvious reason why he refused to cut the cake.

Ajinkya Rahane’s so far record as the skipper of India is tremendous. He has represented team India in 5 test matches, out of which India won 4 and 1 is draw. In ODIs, he has won all the three matches in which he led team India. His only defeat as the captain came in T20I against Zimbabwe in 2015.
