Steve Smith gets off the mark on 39th ball, the crowd cheers him: Australia and New Zealand are currently playing three test match series in Australia.

Australia vs New Zealand- Steve Smith gets off the mark on 39th ball, the crowd cheers him: Australia and New Zealand are currently playing three test matches series in Australia. Meanwhile, Australia already has clinched the series to their name after winning the first two Test matches with a huge margin. And now both teams have moved to play the third and final match of the series at Sydney Cricket Ground in Sydney.

During the first day of the third Test match, Australian Steve Smith has surprised everyone by not scoring a single run in the first 38 balls. Coming in to bat at number 4, Smith batted for 45 minutes before getting off the mark. It all happened in the 40th over when Smith played a short delivery from New Zealand fast bowler Neil Wagner on the leg side to score his first run.

As soon as Steve Smith started running to get off the mark, the crowd cheers him very loudly for scoring the first run. The official twitter account of the Australia cricket has shared the video of the incident. And also wrote in the caption, “Getting off the mark off your 39th ball? A sigh of relief for Steve Smith! #OhWhatAFeeling @toyota_aus | #AUSvNZ“.”Here we are attaching the video of the same at the below of this article.

Short Summary of the Match

Earlier in the match, after winning the toss Australia team decided to bat first Sydney Cricket Ground in Sydney. Meanwhile, batting first, Team Australia scored 283-3 at the end of the Day 1 game. From Australia, Marnus Labuschagne has scored 130 runs on the first day of the game and remain unbeaten. And now Marnus Labuschagne will continue the innings along with Mathew Wade on the second day. From New Zealand, Colin de Grandhomme took 2 and Neil Wagner 1 wicket on the first day of the match.
