Bhuvneshwar Kumar hasn’t featured in the Indian One-day international team since the 2022 January South Africa series. In that series, India was thrashed 3-0 by the home side in which Bhuvi bagged horrible figures of 64/0 and 67/0 in the first and second ODI.
His below-average performance forced the management to drop him from the playing xi of the 3rd ODI. Since then Bhuvi hasn’t got any chance in the Indian ODI team for which he has taken 141 wickets in 121 matches.

The 32-year-old has made some changes in his Instagram Bio, creating a fuss among his fans. Bhuvi modified his Instagram bio in which he wrote ‘Indian Cricketer’ earlier changed it to ‘Indian’. The carving out of the ‘cricketer’ title in the Bio has raised many questions in the minds of fans as the player has been sidelined by the selectors for a long time.

It was expected that Bhuvi might make a return in the ongoing West Indies tour but they played was left out of the squad as the management focused more on youth talent. Umran Malik, Mukesh Kumar, and Jaydev Unadkat were selected ahead of the experienced horse Bhuvneshwar.
