Indian spinner Yuzvendra Chahal gave a fitting response to his former Royal Challengers Bangalore teammate Chris Gayle over a recent comment made by the West Indian on a social media post. All through this lockdown Chahal has been active on social media by posting videos about his humorous acts, entertaining sessions with his family or his own on-field performances. In one such recent post, Chahal takes us back to the India-New Zealand series (2020), the 3rd ODI in which he bowled a gem of a delivery to get rid of Martin Guptill.

Chahal’s Post – ‘This Feeling’
In the video posted on his Instagram account, Chahal expresses his emotions on getting Guptill out. In no time, the post garnered a huge number of likes and comments; and Chris Gayle was not going to miss out. Gayle with his own hilarious stance on the post, responded – ‘You overstepped the line, No ball!! Umpire.” It was now Chahal’s turn to respond back, and he rightly did in the way fans expected, an equally befitting and hilarious response. Chahal got back to the West Indian and replied – “haha uncle still last night effect?” , relating to the light moments they’ve shared while playing together.
From Being Teammates in The IPL
Chahal and Gayle have played together in the IPL for south-based franchise, the Royal Challengers of Bangalore. Fans have always been delighted to watch the duo during times of celebrations over a wicket or getting into some mischief during practice.
So that’s yet another of Chahal’s ‘lockdown posts’ that has got the best out of him, both in terms of the delivery he bowled to Guptill as also the response he gave back to Gayle. We’d say – Chris Gayle bowled over by Chahal.
