CPL 2022: Kieron Pollard pulls off a stunner
Kieron Pollard is an amazing fielder and the fans have witnessed his brilliant fielding in the Indian Premier League on more than one occasion. The West Indies player is known to grab one-handed stunners on the boundary rope and something of that sort was seen in the second game of CPL 2022 where the cricketer went one step further and took a splendid catch which left the fans in awe of his catching skills and presence of mind.
It’s early days in CPL 2022 and Kieron Pollard has already treated the fans with his amazing catch at the boundary rope which came in the last over of the Saint Lucia Kings’ inning. It was on the fourth delivery of the 20th over when Jayden Seales was bowling to Alzarri Joseph. The bowler bowled a shortish slower delivery which was hit by the batsman to the long-on boundary. In most cases, it would have been a six, but it was Kieron Pollard patrolling in that region.
WOW. No way did @KieronPollard55 pull that off. Needed every bit of his height and experience for that catch!

The TKR captain timed his jump perfectly and grabbed the ball with one hand, however the momentum took him over the rope. Using his presence of mind, Pollard got the rid of the ball before he crossed the rope and then jumped back in time to complete the brilliant catch. Though the catch was extremely difficult, the cricketer made it look easy with his valiant effort and has surely become a contender for one of the best takes in CPL 2022.
