The Majestic WTC 2021-23 cycle has almost come to an end, with just the final left to play. This WTC cycle has seen some records being made and some of them being shattered. He has only managed to score 1 century and 3 half centuries with the final left to play. His first century of this WTC cycle came just months ago against the Aussies in Ahmedabad where he scored 186 runs from 364 balls including 15 fours with an average of 51.

The Indian Run Machine has been silent until that match but since then he has been scoring in every match he played. Though he was not in his best touch after the 2019 World Cup, he is still the second most run-getter for India in the World Test Championship 2021-2023 cycle.
