The picture of Patna Stadium hosting the Bihar versus Mumbai Ranji Trophy match has been doing the rounds on social media. As you can see in the video, there have been quite a lot of plants growing just at the entrance of the stadium. The overall outlook of the stadium lost its sheen, which is disappointing as there hasn’t been any renovation. Well, the Ranji Trophy is one of the oldest and most prestigious first-class cricket tournaments in India and the respective stakeholders must realize its value and make amends.

As per the reports, the fans were unhappy with the infrastructure of the stadium and some users expressed their frustration towards the Bihar Government, suggesting the need for renovating the venue at the need of the hour. Besides that, the stadium also needs to adhere to safety standards and have proper security measures in place.
