The ECB has called up their best batsman of the 2019 Cricket World Cup back from retirement. The English test captain announced his retirement from the One-day cricket last year against South Africa. However, the ECB has managed to convince Stokes to come back from retirement and play for his nation in ODI cricket once again.
Ben Stokes will feature in the ODI series starting from the 8th of September at the Sophia Gardens in Cardiff. On the other hand, Devon Conway and Trent Boult have made a return to New Zealand ODI side keeping in mind the ODI World Cup 2023.
