Former Indian batter Ajay Jadeja who has played alongside great Sachin Tendulkar is one of the participants in the second season of the reality show Bigg Boss OTT. The show is hosted by Bollywood star Salman Khan whose first episode aired on Saturday, June 17 on Jio Cinema.

Ahead of the much-awaited show, Jadeja was asked about his participation to which he looked pretty excited. The former batter stated that it would be a whole new experience for someone like him.
The first season of Bigg Boss OTT was hosted by bollywood producer Karan Johar. However, Salman Khan has been confirmed as the host for this season. The former cricketer said he is looking forward to featuring in the Salman Khan-hosted show as it will showcase his real side in front of the audience.
“I’m really excited to be a part of India’s biggest reality show and interact with a whole new generation. It’s a new experience for me, unlike cricket where it’s all about the game,” Ajay Jadeja stated about his participation in Bigg Boss OTT.
“In Bigg Boss OTT, the entire nation gets to know the real you and every thought is questioned for which I’m genuinely excited about,” the former Indian cricketer further added.
This is not the first time when Ajay Jadeja has tried his luck in the entertainment industry. He has also tried his hand at acting in a couple of bollywood movies in the past. He was the lead star in the movie Khel, which was released in 2003 and also appeared in another movie called Pal Pal Dil Ke Ssaat in the year 2009.
He has also participated in a dance-based Indian reality television show in the past. He was one of the contestants in the first season of Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa in which he showed his dance moves and got appreciation from the fans.
Jadeja made his debut for the Indian Team in February 1992 in an ODI game against Sri Lanka. He played 196 ODIs for the Men in Blue in which he scored 5359 runs from at a pretty good average of average of 37.5.
Ajay Jadeja was one of the finest fielders in Team India in those times. The former batter also played 15 Test matches in his career in which he amassed 576 runs at an average of 26.2.
