Arun Lal, who is presently the coach of the Bengal Ranji team is soon going to tie the know with his long-time friend Bul Bul Saha. The former Indian cricketer is in the news as this is going to be his second marriage after he and his first wife parted ways with mutual consent. Lal has been in a relationship with his 28-year younger friend for a long time and now they both are finally tying the knot.
Arun Lal set to marry for the 2nd time
Though Arun Lal and his first wife Reena have divorced each other, she has continued to live with the cricketer and is not keeping well at the moment. As per the reports, Reena is fully supportive of the impending marriage of the 66-year old and his girlfriend Bul Bul Saha (38), who has been in a relationship with the former cricketer for a very long time.
Arun Lal has been a prolific commentator and has lent his voice in many a matches. The cricketer was diagnosed with jaw cancer in 2016 and he defeated it with flying colours, however that put a full stop to his commentary career. Under his guidance, the Bengal Ranji team reached the finals in 2020 and has secured its place in the quarter-final in the ongoing season.
Arun Lal made his Test debut against Sri Lanka in 1982. His career had a great start as he played a 63-run inning and opened with Sunil Gavaskar. Unfortunately, Arun Lal didn’t have a long run in the longer format of the game and only played 16 Tests during his stint. After retiring from cricket, he became a popular commentator and was active until he was diagnosed with jaw cancer.
