Former England all-rounder Andrew Flintoff is one of the finest to have played cricket. Having scored 7,315 runs and taken 400 wickets in 227 international appearances, Flintoff’s stats tells us about the quality he possessed during his playing days.
There are not many fans who are not aware of Flintoff. But, the legend himself encountered someone who did not know about his great legacy as a cricketer.
Hosting the TV show ‘Top Gear’, Flintoff sat inside a car with a fan. The fan took Flintoff by surprise as he asked whether the English great follows cricket and about his favourite IPL team.
The response surprised the fan as Flintoff revealed that he represented Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the cash-rich league. Further, Flintoff awkwardly silenced himself as the guy replied that he was not really an avid follower of the sport when Flintoff played for the MS Dhoni-led side.
