Winning the toss in cricket is a very crucial task, however, totally dependent on luck. Sometimes, captains are referred to as unlucky if they lose tosses simultaneously. Indian skipper Virat Kohli is one of them, who has unfortunate records in toss winning. In the last 12 ODIs matches, he could manage to win the toss only 2 times. Currently, Virat is playing the 14th edition of IPL, meanwhile, RCB took RR in the 16th match at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. During the RCB vs RR match, Virat Kohli after winning the toss couldn’t believe it.
The run-machine Kohli in winning the toss and Royal Challengers Bangalore in winning consecutive matches were unfortunate. However, in this edition of IPL, both records have already changed. Virat has won 3 out of 4 tosses and RCB after winning the first three matches created history. This is for the very first time in the books of IPL that the Bangalore team has won the first three matches of the tournament.
During the RCB vs RR match, a hilarious moment took place when both captains had come for the toss. Actually, both Sanju Samson and Virat Kohli were unable to hear the proper call from the match referee. RCB’s skipper thought it is Sanju who won the toss and he sends him forward. However, when the toss-representer told Virat won the toss. Kohli couldn’t believe it and said with full of amazement, “I won the toss?”
