It is worth mentioning that the last time India played 5 debutants in an ODI was back in 1980. Despite many youngsters getting a chance, Devdutt Padikkal and Ruturaj Gaikwad will still have to wait for their chance. After the conclusion of the ODI series, India will play a 3-match T20 series against Sri Lanka. The T20 series gets underway from July 25 at the R Premadasa Stadium, Colombo.
