Meanwhile, four times champion Mumbai Indians bought six players in the auction. Having bought Australia batsman Chris Lynn at his base price of INR 2 crore, Mumbai was the first team to buy a player in the auction.
Mumbai Indians make the highest winning bid for the Australian fast bowler Nathan Coulter-Nile. Mumbai bought the Aussies pace bowler for the price of INR 8 crore for the IPL 2020 season. However, highest winning bid in this auction was for Pat Cummins by Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) as they have bought him for the whopping price of INR 15.50 crore.
